V/A - FLY BUDS 1

Fly Buds 1 is the first release of our yearly compilation series which showcases forward-thinking house music! Fly Buds stretches across continents with a glimpse of unique grooves and variations that can be found in dance culture. The striking cover, illustrated by Adelina Glebova (Lithuania) brings the idea of sharing and togetherness to creativity and nature.

Louie Martz (Mexico) kicks off with 'Retro Solar' a downtempo sun riser that expands on progressive melodies. The track shows times of paradise and upliftment.

Fly founder, Lexmic (South Africa) is back with another trip down minimal lane. His track 'Rabbit Hole' dives down deep on a meandering bass riff that seeks quirky sounds and hypnotic percussions.

Newcomer EnoughEnough (Lithuania) shows up with 'Cryomancy' The chilled and textural introduction withdraws into a driving rhythm reminiscent of the eastern block, with a bopping groove and melancholic synths.

Morgana Parel & German K (Peru) arrive on the vibe and, 'Enter the Void' gets straight to business, urging you to do it! Fiesta percussions over a phat, minimal groove take you deep into the void!

Shmalec (Netherlands) comes up with an experimental garage-influenced hybrid called 'Undercover' The classic 4x4 bottoms are topped with sampled pianos and organs that convey an unquestionable downtown atmosphere.
